Maddalena was a special grandmother who, already in the forties, grew fruit and vegetables in the farm Cà di Carassa, in the hills of Canelli.
Over the years, from a small artichoke plantation next to the vineyards, its vegetable garden grows more and more, until it becomes a real activity.Maddalena begins to sell her first fruits and, a lover of cooking, uses them to experiment with new dishes.
With her homemade jams, fruit preserves and appetizers in oil, soon grandmother Maddalena manages to convey her passion for cooking to her son Dario and the whole family. In his recipes he uses only quality ingredients and zero mile products, a tradition of which we are still very proud.
In 2018, Maddalena was born, the line of preserves inspired by grandmother’s recipes.Between tradition, simplicity and a pinch of imagination, we select only ingredients of Italian origin and short-chain agricultural products to create three different lines: Dario, Pina and Teresa.
After harvesting in our vegetable gardens, fruits and vegetables are immediately processed manually, to preserve all their properties. We do not use preservatives: in oil they are preserved thanks to salt and oil and compotes thanks to fruit sugars.
