Luigi Medici, nicknamed “sovereign of the blue gold”, with his enterprise, provided the municipality of Asti with drinking water at the beginning of the ‘900.
It was in those years that the patron of the Medici built his palace, nicknamed, because of its magnificence, “Castle of Piazza Roma”, in a mixture of styles in which the neo-Gothic prevails.
Adjacent to our medieval tower Comentina, has now incorporated in its image and its profile in the skyline of Asti.
